Innawoods Guide
In a thread on /k/ lastnight and it turned into a innawoods prep/experience thread, so I decided to add this little tid-bit to the site. The author is Anonymous, but he emailed me this quick guide. As a backpacker he created this list and I've edited the paragraphs, but aside from that, its all Anonymous.
So if you're planning on being innawoods or shit hits the fan, check this out first.
TF2 Spray
So we've been playing TF2 like crack addicts recently and thought, why not make a spray? So here it is. spray it everywhere (where allowed, some servers don't like urls in sprays, so be respectful)
- Now place the .VTF file in: (your dir)\Steam\steamapps\(your username)\team fortress 2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos
- To fix the quick view appearing blank copy the same .VTF also in: (your dir)\Steam\steamapps\(your username)\team fortress 2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos\UI
- In game, go to the options (OPTIONS, VIDEO) and click import the spray and browse for it in the \logos folder (not the UI folder!) and validate. (this will create a VMT file near your VTF)
- To create the spray in game, go to any object (wall) and click ' t ' on the keyboard to spray.

Okay heres the deal. The main part of the site is up for the time being. /info will hopefully be up shortly, but i cant promise it will be 100%. Our current package isn't really rated for the amount of traffic iNFOTHREAD gets, so we will have to upgrade our server soon, which means it's going to cost a lot more money. We are serving almost 1TB of data every month with 9 million server hits. We're doing what we can to continue to serve information. If you would like to make a contribution to help us upgrade we would be grateful and very appreciative.

I think its Twitter (Don't bank on it, but I'm not sure this twitter thing is going to take off; I give it about a month) Everywhere I go I hear people say "Tweet me!" or follow me on "Twitter!", I don't know what you kids are doing these days so I decided to check it out. Don't get me wrong I LOVE to read your 3,000 word copy pasta takedown notices, but I have a few concerns.

On that page you'll find that you, the author, get to do all the cool investigation work that is REQUIRED to get your shit off my site. Don't send me a long ass e-mail saying I need to take down all "works" by David D. Davidson PHD. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find EVERY link/works that you want to claim copyright to so that it can be dealt with. If you send me an email claiming you own a 'works' and do not cite any 'works' or links associated with the aforementioned 'works', I will more than likely ignore it and await your raging e-mails to follow.
DO NOT send me multiple e-mails telling me to take down files from websites that I DO NOT OWN. If a link to iNFOTHREAD is posted on a site that doesn't mean TEAMiNFO owns that site. I am not a warlock, I can NOT delete files from every server; especially if I DO NOT OWN IT.
DO NOT send me threatening e-mails. I will ASSURE you this will NOT get me to remove your file(s) faster or AT ALL.
Being rude will get you nowhere really fucking fast. As you may notice I have over 10,000 files on this server, there is NO WAY I can know every copyright holder to every piece of works on this site.
